SAST Datasets Available for FTP Access

The SAST Data set list shows the data themes available, and allows users to view sample graphics, download or view metadata, and get some of the data sets in a Arc Export format from the SAST Database.

Files may be in ARC/INFO EXPORT format with no compression or SDTS format with compression or both.

To download data via anonymous ftp follow these instructions:

ftp edcftp.cr.usgs.gov
Enter "anonymous" at name prompt
Enter complete e-mail address at the Password prompt
cd (change) pub/data/sast (subdirectory)
Type: binary (set the file transfer mode to binary)
Type: get (to download one file) or
Type: mget (to download more than one file)
