The map below displays the Congo-Zaire's sub-watersheds
thresholded from the flow accumulation grid at 10,000.
A technique for automatic delineation of sub-watersheds
was developed by Jenson
and Domingue (1988) that employs the methods of
thresholding flow accumulations at specific
intersections to determine pour points to break out
watersheds units. Such an application can be beneficial
for projects needing better and more concise boundary
information for a particular region.
